Commissioning of appliances

All new appliances need to be commissioned. This involves an OFTEC technician examining the installation to ensure that all relevant regulations and local building regulations have been adhered to. In addition, the technician will ensure that no internal parts, such as the baffles have moved during transportation and that all levels and pressures are correctly set.

I charge a set fee of £75 for commissioning a boiler.

This will include all paperwork necessary for submission to the local Council for the request of the installation under local building regulations
