About Me

Hi, my name is Alistair Lindsay and I am a sole trader running Merlin Oil Boiler Services. I received training at a national accredited training establishment in the Midlands, and am now a register technician under the Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC) scheme. This scheme is the equivalent to Oil boilers as the CORGI scheme is to Gas.

Being a registered OFTEC technician ensures that you, the customer, receives a professional, efficient, service all the time, every time.

The OFTEC scheme requires me to attend a National assessment centre every 5 years to ensure I maintain the necessary skills and understanding of the relevant regulations.

I operate throughout Carmarthenshire and am able to attend to all sorts of issues relating to oil boilers.

 

I operate a 24/7 callout facility and in the event of an emergency will attend as soon as possible to assist.

I carry with me a full range of spare parts for all popular brands of boiler. This ensures that in the event of a breakdown I will in the majority of cases have a replacement part on the van.
